unit 1 reflection

Unit 1
In this unit, I have a better understanding of culture. I learn some details like mainstream, subculture, counter culture, folk culture, high culture, culture shock,  ethnocentrism, ethnic relativism, cultural identity, and diversity from this class. Every culture can not be ignored. It also needs recognition and attention. The most interesting thing for me is the culture shock. It reflects my experience. I learned more about the culture shock through the teacher's articles on culture shock. For example, it has some stages like honeymoon stage, the distress stage, re-integration stage, autonomy stage and independence stage.
